        It is the  intent of DO-DAT INDUSTRIES to provide software so user
        friendly that no manual is required. Some hints, however, are in
        order.  Do not use this disk without first making a backup copy.
        Think of it as an IQ test. No backup and you flunk. Put your
        original disk in a safe place away from heat, electric wires,
        speakers etc.  It is an excellent idea to write protect your copy
        except when you intend to use the append feature.

        MealMate is a planning aid for anyone on a carefully controlled
        diet.  MealMate is an easily operated program that can present
        nutritional information on many common foods. It can also combine
        the information from meal plans or menus to check the total
        nutritional content of a planned diet. MealMate should make it
        easier to plan more varied meals or to help in choosing substitutes
        for hard to find diet items.  MealMate should be a big help to
        anyone preparing meals that have to meet strict requirements for
        calories, proteins, carbohydrates, fats, and especially food
        exchanges.
